About this Website

I started this website in September 2015, at its original location, as a way to keep track of my own progress as I went through treatments for undifferentiated endometrial sarcoma. This is a rare type of uterine cancer with a poor prognosis and I wanted to find out as much as I could about it, to find out what I would be facing. As I searched the internet, most of what I found were articles from organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the National Institutes of Health, as well as from academic and medical journals.

I wanted to find some blogs to read about the personal impact this cancer has on the affected woman, her family, and her lifestyle. I found only a few, and most of them weren't being updated.

I hope this website will help other women and their families to understand the impact of the diagnosis of undifferentiated endometrial sarcoma. Please leave comments if you have questions or concerns about anything on this site.

Remember - this is my own story, this is not medical advice. Please contact your own health care specialist for medical questions.
